Honey, wait up! Wife rescues husband as he jumps from window
A Chinese man jumped out of a window, attempting to kill himself, but was saved by his wife at the very last moment.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning in Changchun City of Jilin Province, where the 45-year-old man intended to take his own life as he was suffering delusions brought on by huge mental stress.
The man's wife caught his right leg right before he was about to fall. She managed to hold his leg for 20 minutes as her body gradually became enervated from the strain.
Officers from the Changchun City police station rushed to the apartment after onlookers heard the wife calling out for help. The officers and the onlookers managed to jimmy the locked door of the apartment and saved the man just in time.
