Airplane pulling competition
The airplane-pulling doubles competition was held at the Zhengzhou Airport in central China's Henan Province on Tuesday.
It is as part of the World Strongman Champions League 2013, a total of 20 strongmen who survived three elimination rounds took part in three types of competitions, during which another eight players would be eliminated. The rest of the players would take part in the finals to compete for the title.
According to the rules of the airplane-pulling doubles, two strongmen in a group have to pull a 30-ton Boeing 737 airplane over a distance of 20 metres. The players using the shortest time win the competition. Report by Genelle Aldred.
