Houston Texas, Black-Man found shot dead by Black-Woman outside store

July 21, 2013 Houston Texas, A man was gunned down outside a store on Houston's south side last night and police are trying to figure out why. Police say the victim was visiting his brother's business, walked to a store next door and was later found murdered. It happened around 7pm at a Gulf gas station on Cullen and Ward. The surveillance video shows the woman was engaged in a pretty aggressive confrontation with a man in his 50s, who became the victim in this case. The man was apparently holding an umbrella. The woman after several minutes of going back and forth with this man went to the trunk of her car and pulled out a gun and shot the man at close range, police say. Authorities say they believe the weapon in this case was a 22-caliber rifle and that the man was shot four or five times. After the shooting, according to the witness, the woman recorded cell phone video of the dying man. Investigators need your help to find someone else who was at the gas station at the time of the shooting. "We are looking for a younger black male. It appears he may have been hit also," said Officer Tom Ferguson with the Houston Police Department homicide division. "We want to make sure he's OK." The victim's relatives say they don't know the woman and they are stunned on how and why all of this could have happened. "It was uncalled for my brother is harmless. He is harmless and he wouldn't have hurt nobody," said the victim's brother Darryl Daniels. Officers say they found a small pocket knife on the victim. Police caught up to the woman a couple hours after the shooting. She is being questioned at HPD headquarters downtown. So far no charges have been filed in this case.
