This is the dramatic moment when a frustrated punter took his revenge on an Italian bar's slot machines after losing €5,000 (£4,330). Armed with a lethal axe Nure Bregu, 47, marched into the bar and smashed seven machines as other punters dived for cover in the assault which lasted less than 30 seconds. After carrying out the attack, he calmly walked out of the bar, passed two old men sat at a table with a thumbs up towards the one armed bandits in a sign of victory - with the drinkers seemingly unfixed. The incident took place in the Bar Madonnina in the sleepy village of Fontaniva near Padua earlier this week and afterwards Bregu calmly waited outside for police to arrive and arrest him. Witnesses in the bar said father of two Bregu was a regular on the slot machines and had spent several hours feeding coins into them complaining and muttering that he had lost €5,000 in two weeks. The Chinese owner of the bar, who declined to be named, said: "He comes in here all the time to play the machines. He's had some wins but he spends a lot of money. He is a labourer and only works every now and then. "He's normally a very quiet man. There has never been any problems with him in the past. He just walked in very calmly with an axe and smashed all the machines. There were several customers by them at the time and they were terrified.
